The less demanding user may also create its database in a more flexible way by including only generic names of products for faster selection when compiling the list.

My New Shopping List è la nuova app che ti consentirà di tenere sotto controllo i costi che devi sostenere ogni settimana.
Una lista della spesa intelligente deve consentire le seguenti attività:
1) Memorizzare tutte le liste per avere uno storico delle spese con gli andamenti dei prezzi;
2) Consentire una selezione rapida dei prodotti da acquistare;
3) Riproporre i prezzi degli articoli se già acquistati nello stesso mercato;
4) Consentire di memorizzare gli articoli suddividendoli per categoria e per tipologia di prezzo (al pezzo o secondo quantità);
5) Permettere un rapido backup dei dati per un utilizzo futuro o per ulteriori analisi su fogli di calcolo.

Versatilità è la capacità di soddisfare le esigenze di ogni utente; si può definire ogni prodotto in ogni suo particolare, definendo nome, marca e tipologia.
Si può altresì creare la base dati in modo più flessibile inserendo soltanto i nomi generici dei prodotti per una più rapida selezione in fase di compilazione della lista.
Le due modalità si possono anche combinare dato che, ad esempio, in fase di compilazione della lista è possibile selezionare solo prodotti generici quali: Pasta, Biscotti, Olio, ecc. In questo modo la compilazione della lista è rapida e snella.
Al ritorno a casa, con calma e tranquillità, si possono sostituire i prodotti generici con i prodotti effettivamente acquistati; in questo modo la lista verrà compilata con tutte le informazioni necessarie per un adeguato controllo dei prezzi e dei costi sostenuti.

Un'app è tanto più efficiente quanto più è in grado di generare automaticamente i dati, consentendo il minor numero di tap all'utente.
L'app è in grado di associare in modo automatico l'ultimo prezzo conosciuto del prodotto acquistato nel mercato su cui si intende effettuare la spesa. In questo modo l'utente deve solo modificare i prezzi che, nel frattempo, hanno subito una variazione.
Chiaramente questo meccanismo consente anche di avere una previsione del costo della spesa!
Controllo vuol dire anche possibilità di avere il "possesso" dei dati; per tale ragione è presente una nutrita sezione "Opzioni" in cui è possibile effettuare il backup dei dati sia per una importazione su altri dispositivi che posseggono l'app, sia per una ulteriore analisi su strumenti più avanzati come i fogli di calcolo.
