Ancona / Senigallia, Italy

I build native and cross-platform apps, for over 30 years.

Electronic engineer and independent consultant. I build solutions for iOS, Android and Kotlin Multiplatform, from prototype to store release.

Where it started

On the App Store since it was still called iPhone OS

My first application, iSoccer Scout, was published in February 2010. The flagship device back then was the iPhone 3GS, and the system was still called iPhone OS 3.1.3: the name "iOS" would only arrive four months later, in June 2010, with iOS 4.

Apple's App Store had opened just in July 2008: iSoccer Scout arrived less than two years after that debut, at the dawn of the entire mobile app ecosystem. Since then I've published dozens of apps โ€” many, like this one, have since been retired; the ones still live are collected in the portfolio.

About me

From native development to Kotlin Multiplatform

I hold a degree in Electronic Engineering (Computer Science track) with a 110/110 cum laude from the University of Ancona, and I've been a licensed engineer since 1992. Since then I've worked through nearly every era of software development: from Microsoft systems and computational natural language processing, to native mobile development and, today, Kotlin Multiplatform.

I work as an independent consultant (VAT-registered) for companies and private clients, building iOS, Android and KMP apps and acting as Solution Architect on the Microsoft .NET stack.

My most recent applications โ€” built for clients such as SNAM, Beta80, ENEL, OverIT โ€” unify business logic on Kotlin Multiplatform while integrating native third-party SDKs on both iOS and Android. Earlier in my career I built numerous native apps, with a particular focus on Connected Health (the ADiLife family of apps) and public-sector projects.

Built with Kotlin Multiplatform

Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) streamlines cross-platform development: it cuts down the time spent writing and maintaining the same code across different platforms, while preserving the flexibility and benefits of native programming.
